We have also been busy around the house, doing projects that are less dramatic, but more, well, at our level of expertise:

New deadbolt installed on the back door, with only minimal damage!
Now our task list shifts toward things we need to do around the house to prepare for the dog's imminent arrival. Just 22 days!
